Year 6 - Victorians
Year 6 have been using watercolours to paint Victorian scenes inspired by Monet.

Year 6 have been writing, using Victorians as the stimulus. We have been writing in role, as a Victorian school child and Master and we have written Newspaper reports on an incident at a Victorian Fairground.

Y5 - Lunar Landing
In Year 5, we have been learning about space and have been reading 'The First Lunar Landing' which was written by Rodney Martin. The book is a non-fiction text and explains all the steps and processes the astronauts had to go through before embarking on the Apollo 11 mission in 1969.
The children also watched clips of space shuttles being launched. They used the book and the video clips as a stimulus for writing their own descriptive paragraphs about a shuttle launch.
