Y1 - Diversity Week
During Diversity week, the Year 1 children learnt
about life in Africa. We had a friend called Hilaire come and talk to the children about what his life was like when he lived in West Africa.
We used 2 Simple to draw a
picture and write a sentence.

In the Autumn Term, Year 1 find out lots of interesting and amazing facts about space. We are learning to write interesting sentences with adjectives. We are also trying hard to remember to start a new sentence with a capital letter, leave clear finger spaces between words and finish with a full stop.

FS2 work on 'My World'
FS2 have been doing the topic of 'My World'. They have been practising writing their name in their new books and have made their own books too. They included a page on themselves, their family, their house and their most favourite thing! Alongside this they have been writing about what they like to do best in FS2. They have been extremely busy!!

Year 6 - Diary of Anne Frank
Year 6 have been researching the life of Anne Frank, as part of their WWII topic. We have been making our own Anne Frank diaries and have been writing as if we were her, living inside the secret annexe. We have made voice recordings on our i pods and have begun adding photos, plans and diary entries into our Kitty diaries.
