UFO at Normanby Primary School

UFO at Normanby Primary School?

Alan YoungsonClose encounters of an unidentified kind
Children at Normanby Primary School are stunned today at the arrival of a rather unusual visitor. The school's playing field resembles a scene from a Hollywood Blockbuster, as what appears to be the wreckage of an Unidentified Flying Object is scattered across this usually busy sporting area.
Early this morning, Michael Mooney (the school caretaker) was going about his usual morning rounds when he stumbled across the mysterious object:
"In all my years working at Normanby Primary School, I have never seen such an unusual sight. Sticking out of the grass was what appeared to be the remains of a spacecraft! I could clearly see the cockpit, 4 thruster engines and green slime everywhere! A large piece landed in Foundation Stage near the vegetable patch. Of course I ran for it and called Mr Faulkner, the head teacher, straight away,” explained a rather shaken Mr Mooney.
Mr Faulkner was unavailable for comment and is said to be helping to ensure the site remains cordoned off and secure, although a trail of slime was spotted coming from his office to the scene of the disturbance.
All across Normanby questions are being asked. Is it really a spacecraft? Could it be a fallen satellite? One thing is certain, the children and staff are not available for comment, heightening speculation that something truly remarkable is taking place. As the days unfold and a thorough investigation is carried out, the answers will slowly reveal themselves. For now, the people of this usually quiet area look up to the skies with a sense of awe and wonder.
